Common questions

Which calculation method do you use?

Times default to the standard method for your region, and you can switch to ISNA, MWL, Umm al-Qura, Egyptian, or Karachi in Settings.

Do I lose my streak if I miss one prayer?

Your daily streak counts days where you completed all five. A missed prayer ends that streak, but your best streak and monthly percentage stay — the app is built to help you start again, not to shame you.

Is my data sent anywhere?

Your location never leaves your phone — prayer times are calculated on the device. Your prayer history and streaks are backed up to your own account so they survive a new phone, and nothing is ever sold, shared, or used for advertising. You can delete your account and everything in it from Settings at any time.

Can I use the app without paying?

Yes, completely. Every feature except Focus Mode is free with no limits or time trial. Focus Mode is the single paid add-on.

Can Focus Mode block anything it shouldn't?

You choose the apps yourself, and calls, messages, and emergency features are never blocked.
